Our story —

5 years ago, over brunch...

We met and became fast friends. Yue, a former dating coach in NYC that had recently moved to San Francisco, was utterly baffled by the dating scene and realized her traditional views were outdated. Julie, on the other hand, had spent her entire adult dating life here. After experiencing the rise of Tinder and all the challenges that came with dating apps, she decided to create her own app that allowed people to meet IRL. As two single girls do, we found ourselves talking extensively about modern dating.. So much that we ...

...decided to start a podcast

It began as a way to unpack what was happening in our own dating lives by hearing experiences and funny stories from our friends. Over the years, it has evolved to so much more when realized that we were admits a massive cultural shift when it came to how we view relationships, love, and sex . By hearing a diverse set of voices, we've realized that 1) we are never alone in our experiences and 2) there is no one right way to date anymore. Through talking to thousands of daters just like you, we've uncovered why we date the way we do and how modern dating is forever changing relationships. And we're here to help you challenge your old beliefs, traditions, and whatever else is getting in your way to create the love life you want....

“This is a community that I look forward to seeing every week especially for the weekly happy hours. It's a safe space where I can express my ideas and feelings about the dating experience. It’s a true extension of the podcast.”

Shieldy, New Jersey

“I love the openness that the members bring in discussing our shared experiences. It’s also inspiring to see how we are all working together  in a common mission to bid single life farewell."

Ricky, NYC

For the last 3 years, I have found myself as the only single woman in my group of friends. I was longing for connections with others who are like-minded and navigating this dating world too.  I kept thinking it was hard to find friends after 30. But thanks to this group, I have found my people!

Caitlin, Los Angeles

The online community we have here was a pleasant surprise when the pandemic hit. Our happy hours are a great way to be silly and honest with similar people looking to just be comfortable in this scary YET Dateable world.
